UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: Udhampur Police arrested a juvenile along with stolen motorcycle.
As per sources, a team from Police Station Udhampur led by SHO Udhampur Inspector Vijay Singh Choudhary and assisted by SI Vikas Kumar under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Udhampur Kulbir Handa and SSP Udhampur Rayees Mohammad Bhat laid a naka and signaled a motorcycle coming from Domail side towards Udhampur to stop for checking.
On seeing police cops, the rider tried to escape from the spot, but cops intercepted him after a brief chase.
During scrutinizing of the documents and questioning of the rider, it came to fore that the rider had stolen the motorcycle. Police arrested the juvenile rider.
A case under FIR Number 376/18 under Section 379 RPC has been registered at Udhampur Police Station and further questioning of the case is going on.
Meanwhile, the arrested rider was produced in the court of CJM Magistrate, who ordered for shifting of the juvenile to Juvenile Home in RS Pura Jammu.
