JAMMU, Aug 3: A woman succumbed to her burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, the woman identified as Sudesh Kumari (40) wife of Jaswant Raj, a resident of Haripur (Rakh) in RS Pura, was shifted here at GMCH on May 28 after she suffered about 50% burn injuries in a mysterious fire broke out at her residence.
“However, the woman succumbed to her injuries today at about 8.10 PM. The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while RS Pura police have taken cognizance of the matter”, he added.
