LOS ANGELES, July 26: Justin Bieber’s lookalike and fan Tobias Strebel, who was known for spending around USD 100,000 to look similar to the pop star, reportedly died of drug overdose.
According to the autopsy report, excessive amounts of narcotic painkillers and prescription drugs including oxycodone, hydrocodone, Xanax and other sleep aids were found in Strebel’s system when he was found dead last year, said The Hollywood Reporter.
He was found dead in a Motel 6 room on August 21 last year in North Hills, California.
In 2014, Strebel appeared on TLC’s “My Strange Addiction” and E!’s “Botched” where he claimed to have spent nearly USD 100,000 on procedures to look like Bieber.
In the autopsy report obtained by TMZ, Strebel’s cause of death is listed as “multiple drug intoxication.” (PTI)
