Justice Tashi inaugurates e-Seva Kendra, Vidhik Seva Kendra in Leh

LEH, July 1: Justice Tashi Rabstan, Judge Common High Court of UT’s of J&K & Ladakh and Chairman High Court Legal Services Committee, Member IT Committee and Administrative Judge for District Leh inaugurated the e-Seva Kendra and Vidhik Seva Kendra at District Court Complex Leh via virtual mode. The programme was attended by S R Gandhi Registrar Judicial, M K Sharma, Member Secretary Ladakh Legal Services Authority, Deepak Sethi Principal District & Sessions Judge Leh (Chairman DLSA Leh), Anoop Kumar Sharma Central Project Coordinator, Spalzes Angmo, CJM Leh, Phuntsog Angmo Sub-Judge/Secretary DLSA Leh, Judicial Officer of Leh and Kargil, President Bar Association Leh Mohammad Shafi, Members of the Bar, Panel Lawyers, PLVs and public at large in physical and virtual mode.
The programme started with the welcome speech of Pr. District and Sessions Judge Leh Deepak Sethi. This was followed by e-inauguration of Vidhik Seva Kendra and e-Seva Kendra at District Court Leh. Anoop Kumar Sharma, Central Proiect Coordinator spoke about the relevance of e-Seva Kendra and Vidhik Seva Kendra.
Mohammad Shafi Preisdent Bar Association Leh spoke on the occasion and expressed deep gratitude to Justice Tashi Rabstan for fulfilling, a long pending demand of Bar Association Leh and public of Ladakh in general by opening these Kendras.
Speaking on the occasion Justice Tashi Rabstan stressed on the importance of the these Kendras in filing of cases via virtual mode in the High Court by the people of Leh district, without having to travel Jammu or Srinagar for the same. He impressed upon the Bar Members to take full advantage of this opportunity by filing their cases in the High Court through these Kendras. He communicated with the public at large in the local language and made them aware that through this facility not only filing of new cases in the High Court can be done, but the litigants can also know about the status of their already pending cases, next date of hearing, getting e-stump papers and E-Mulakat of the prisoners with their relatives can also he arranged.
The programme concluded with the presentation of vote of thanks by Spalzes Angmo, CJM Leh.
