JAMMU, Apr 27: Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) has earned an A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), achieving a grade point of 3.40 in its third accreditation cycle.
Announced on April 25, 2024, this rating underscores JUIT’s commitment to maintaining high standards in education, research, innovation, and community engagement.
During its rigorous evaluation, NAAC assessed various aspects of JUIT, including its infrastructure, faculty, curriculum, student support, research performance, and community engagement efforts.
The Pro-Chancellor of JUIT and Executive Chairman of Jaiprakash Associates Limited, Manoj Gaur, praised Vice-Chancellor Prof R K Sharma and his team for their exceptional work in securing this high mark.
Prof Sharma expressed his gratitude for the achievement, noting that the A+ grade reaffirms JUIT’s dedication to providing world-class education and maintaining excellent operational standards.
He added that this accreditation positions JUIT as a leader in higher education and research.
Prof Sunil Kumar Khah, In-Charge of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), attributed this success to the concerted efforts of the IQAC team, faculty, staff and students.
