JAMMU, May 14: Member Parliament Jammu Poonch Constituency Jugal Kishore Sharma reviewed the status of implementation of Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) at village Mathwar with concerned officers here today.
Jugal Kishore had a comprehensive review of various components of the scheme with all the departments. He exhorted upon the officers to work with utmost zeal and dedication to ensure effective implementation of this programme. He stressed the need for creating awareness and the people about the Government schemes.
He asked the bank authorities to organize a camp at Mathwar for maximum enrolment under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and Atal Pension Yojana.
Jugal Kishore asked BSNL to set up telephone exchange at Mathwar at the earliest to facilitate the people with broadband service.
Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu in a power point presentation, apprised the Member Parliament about physical and financial achievements of various departments under the programme.
