JAMMU, Jan 30: BJP State President & MP Jugal Kishore Sharma convened a joint meeting of the chief engineers of PWD and PHE along with their field staff and prominent local people of Nagrota Constituency from surrounding areas of Jagti Jahri in the area today to apprise the officers of the problems being faced by the people and to chalk out time bound action plan to settle them.
The local people narrated their woes related to PWD and PHE departments in particular and sought the intervention of the MP in getting them resolved. The officials assured the MP that whatever has been brought in their notice will be taken on priority and every effort will be made to ensure that the people are not made to suffer on these matters. They welcomed the initiative taken to have an interactive meeting with the actual users of the facilities.
Jugal Kishore Sharma also addressed a series of public meetings in Miran Sahib, Kalyana and R.S Pura Town falling in R.S. Pura Assembly Constituency along with the local leaders.
Sharma, while addressing rallies at these places, said that the Party has created record by winning three Parliamentary seats and later 25 Assembly seats in the State, which is a clear message that the people of the State are in accord with the people of the country and want a change. They look towards BJP as the only political party which can work for the masses and the nation in real and the true sense, he added.
He said that now after having been voted BJP MPs and MLAs owe a duty to serve the people with dedication and commitment with the sole agenda of improving their lot economically and socially and ending corruption, misgovernance and dynastic rule.
Parmodh Kapahi, Nand Kishore, MLAs Dr. Gagan Bhagat and Sham ChoudharySubash Chander, Gharu Ram, Harish Kumar, Om Parkash, Gopal, Sat Pal Pappi, H.S Pummy, Lucky Sharma, Swarn Singh, Brijeshwar and others also address the public meetings in R.S. Pura.
