JAMMU, Mar 3: Jugal Kishore Sharma Member Parliament (Lok Sabha) from Jammu-Poonch constituency and senior BJP leader, today visited, village of Kattal Batal and Tarah in Nagrota Assembly Segment and laid foundation stone for construction and upgradation of roads there.
Jugal Kishore while addressing the gathering said that PMGSY is the major head funded by Central Government led by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi to ensure  the connectivity in the interior parts of the constituency.
Construction and upgradation of road from village Baleeni to Kattal Batal costing Rs 4.85 crore is stretched over the length of 6.4 kms. It was the genuine demand of inhabitants of the area which has been now fulfilled. This road will also provide connectivity to the holy pilgrimage Bawa Bhaid Dev Ji Dev Sathan in Nagrota besides boost Pilgrimage tourism in the area.
Jugal Kishore also laid foundation stone for construction 5.5 km road from Tarah to Doa under PMGSY costing Rs 3.01 crore. He said that this road connects the interior part of the constituency to the National Highway and people will now get rid of their sufferings. He said that the Central Government is working on the agenda of “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas” and putting great efforts to provide connectivity to the rural area by the means of Pardhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna.
Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Sanjeev Gupta and senior BJP leader, Nand Kishore Sharma, Hem Raj, Satish Sharma, Balbir Singh, Yograj, Dawarka Nath, Ashu Sharma, Yash Pal and others were also present on the occasion.
