SAMBA, Feb 28: Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma today inaugurated a passenger shed at Mansar Morh in Samba district.
The MP was accompanied by former Minister, Dr D K Manyal and BDO, Samba, Omkar Singh was also present on the occasion.
While addressing the gathering, Jugal Kishore Sharma said that this was long pending demand of the people of the area and it has been redressed now. He said that the students of Government Degree College, Samba and the people of adjoining villages had to wait for buses at Mansar Morh and they faced problems during heavy rain and scorching Sun as there was no facility of the passenger shed for people as well students at Mansar Morh. He said due to lack of passenger shed the people faced lot of trouble.
He said with the dedication of passenger shed to public the problem of passengers will be eased to a great extent.
Jugal also highlighted the policies and programmes of Narendra Modi led Government at Centre which is on the path of building a new and strong India. He said the public welfare schemes and projects launched by Modi Government during last five years are a step in this direction.
Jugal said Modi’s priority has been those areas which were ignored in development during last 65 years by Congress and its allies.
He said the projects brought for J&K during the time of Modi Government are aimed at developing the State and making its people prosperous.
Speaking on the occasion, former Minister, Dr D K Manyal highlighted the steps taken by BJP Government for the development of backward areas of the State. He threw light on various developmental works undertaken in Samba district during last five years of Modi Government.
He appealed the people not to be misled by opposition parties’ false propaganda and have full faith in the Prime Minister who has launched many schemes for poor and down -trodden people of the country to bring them at par with other members of the society.
