JAMMU, Apr 6: Jugal Kishore Sharma, Member Parliament BJP from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha Constituency called on Prakash Javadekar, Union Minister for Human Resources and Development at New Delhi and discussed various issues & projects regarding development of education sector in his constituency.
Jugal Kishore raised demand for opening of new Kendriya Vidyalayas in his Parliamentary constituency. He informed Minister that his Parliamentary constituency is comprising of most populated districts and demand for opening of new Kendriya Vidalayas at Bishnah, Nowshera and Poonch has been raised various times by the people before the Government representatives. The Jammu, Rajouri & Poonch contains large number of population and KVs situated in these areas have to bear much load of students.
He admired the quality education provided by the Kendriya Vidalaya Sangathan in all their units and the people are very curious to get their child admitted in Kendriya Vidal-ayas but their wards get deprived of the very necessary education provided by KVs. He urged Minister that the demand for opening of new Kendriya Vidalayas should be considered and further directions be issued so that children can get their future bright by getting educational as well as moral education from KVs. Moreover, he also discussed the upgradation and development of Navodaya Vidalayas in his Parliamentary constituency.
Prakash Javadekar assured Member of Parliament that his demand is genuine and would be considered on priority.
