Jugal blames Cong for Parliament logjam

JAMMU, Mar 26: Member of Parliament from Jammu-Poonch constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma while justifying the demand of Nowshera people said that Government should look into the demand of the people.
Talking to reporters here today, along with BJP secretary Sanjay Baru and its media secretary Dr Pardeep Mangotra, Jugal said the Government should concede the demands of Kalakote, Nowshera and Sunderbani people and he made an appeal to Government in this regard also.

Jugal also condemned the cane-charge on Nowshera public and termed the incident as unfortunate which could have been avoided with restraint. He called for free and best medical facilities, as well as compensation for the injured.
He also highlighted various development projects taken up in hand during BJP rule at Centre and PDP-BJP coalition in the State.
He said the Government is trying its best to tackle rising unemployment in the State and in this regard Union Home Minister Raj Nath Singh during his last visit to the State had announced five battalions of para military forces for the State and now more two more battalions were announced.
Jugal said that the abandoned development projects in the State have been revived while many new projects have been launched. Work on Jammu to Poonch Highway has commenced, new bridges, IIT, IIIM, AIIMS, Medical Colleges, Sabarmati type river development for Tawi, bunkers, new battalions for border residents are worth name achievements for the State, he stated.
He blamed Congress for the current logjam in Lok Sabha jeopardizing crucial time of the House to be utilised for holding discussions on vital public issues.
He said the Parliamentarians are duty bound to talk and hold discussions on various public issues in the precious time, which is being killed by Congress after creating scenes in the Lok Sabha.
Jugal alleged that Congress is afraid of the good results from the smooth functioning of Parliament as Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is unstoppable in his developmental agenda. Congress is devoid of issues now, due to phenomenal decrease in corruption and pace of development in the country, he added.
He said their actions are causing huge economic and time loss, in which so many laws pertaining to farmers, youth, students could be discussed and passed. He said Parliament is log jammed for over 20 days since 5th of March. Congress must stop this and come forward to hold talks. This is a deliberate malafide attempt by Congress, which we all condemn, he added.
Jugal appealed the youth to come forward for entrepreneurship. He talked about skill development and ‘Mudra Yojna’ for promoting private sector which he termed as backbone of country’s economy and growth. He said that the Government is taking serious steps for this.
