JAMMU, Jan 17: Senior BJP leader and Parliament Member, Jammu –Poonch Lok Sabha constituency, Jugal Kishore Sharma today said that previous Governments have done nothing for the betterment of Jammu and Kashmir and always betrayed the people of the erstwhile State.
Addressing the closing ceremony of Booth Jansamwad of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district North, at Jhajat Kotli in block Dansal, Jugal Kishore Sharma accused the previous governments of befooling the people only by playing dirty politics and exploiting them for votes.
He said but people are now aware about their selfishness and tactics. He said people were waiting for inauguration of Shri Ram Temple at Ayodhya since long and it became now possible only under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
Jugal, also took stock of works and programmes launched by the party at various locations. He inquired about the implementation of party’s programme at Panchayat level, booth level and Shakti Kendra level. He said that under the stewardship of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Central Government has taken many bold steps for the betterment of Jammu & Kashmir.
He said that tremendous development can be seen after the abrogation of Article 370 and many mega projects were now in completion stage. He, while apprising about the Centrally Sponsored Schemes to the party workers said that ideology of party should be taken to everyone to strengthen the hands of Prime Minister.
Member of Parliament also held Wall Painting Campaign -a nationwide programme of BJP and painted the Lotus symbol of party with slogan.
Senior BJP leaders Nand Kishore, Prabhari Neelkunth, Mandal president, Shamsher Singh,Vistarak Pardeep Choudhary, senior BJP leaders, Munshi Ram, Jeet Kumar, Prem Singh,Tarsem Singh,Uttam Singh, ex-Sarpanches and Panches and others were present on the occasion.
