KISHTWAR, Jan 17: Ancestral land of former BJP Minister, Bali Bhagat which was donated to a Trust was locked by the district administration.
When contacted DC Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav informed that it was very old exercise by the administration and land in question was not personal property of the BJP leader but belonged to a Trust over which a Nursing College was functioning.
“Locks were put on the Nursing College building 1-2 days back as it was raised on Roshni land and it was seized a couple of months back,” he maintained.
When contacted Bali Bhagat informed that his ancestral land about more than eight kanals which was donated by his mother to a trust for educational purpose was seized by the administration.
“I have nothing to do with that as I am living in Jammu for last many years,” he said adding: “Many students have passed from the para-medical training college functioning over the land while many are presently undergoing such training there at present also.”
