JAMMU, Apr 1: Jugal Kishore Sharma, BJP Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency along with senior party leader,
Nand Kshore Sharma, BJP Mandal presidents, Ajay Sharma, Shamsher Singh visited village Khanpur,Jagti Jarri, Nagrota,Nadore, Kattal Battal, Churta in Panchayats Jagti, Nadore, Nagrota, Kattal Battal, Churta and adjoining areas in Nagrota constituency and held series of public meetings there.
Jugal Kishore Sharma listened to the problems of the people and various demands raised by them in villages of Nagrota constituency. He, while addressing the gatherings said that Narendra Modi Government is working hard for the welfare of the people. He said that various Centrally sponsored schemes have been launched for the upliftment of the people.
Jugal laid stress on Jal Jeevan Mission scheme and said that Summer season is coming and people have to face problems of water scarcity in dry areas. He took stock of project framed to fulfill the need of water in Summer season at block Nagrota and block Dansal. Member of Parliament appraised the schemes framed for more than 6 crore under Jal Jeevan Mission for the area which covered all the dry areas for providing water supply to the people. He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has taken a strong decision of “Har Ghar Nal aur Nal Mein Jal” till 2022 which will bless people to cope up with drinking water scarcity.
Jugal readressed the demand of roads raised by the people during public meeting at Nadore, Jaari, Khanpur, Churta and said that Public Works Department and PMGSY Department both are working efficiently to provide the road connectivity to the far off areas.
Executive Engineer said that the construction work of Churta-Dansal-Shaddali road was moving slow due to conditions aroused by outbreak of COVID pandemic but now it will get expedited and we will complete it in time.
Sudesh Kumari, Sarpanch Nadore arranged public meeting at Nadore. Lala Kishore, Sarpanch Nagrota and Pyare Lal, Sarpanch Dansal complimented MP for taking stock of situations before the coming of Summer season. Sarpanch Jagti Abha Jamwal and Sarpanch Sanjay Sharma were also present at public meeting at Jaari.
