JAMMU, May 13: In a significant academic initiative, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jammu, Prof Umesh Rai, officially unveiled the poster for the national-level research paper writing competition organized by Bhartia Shiksha Mandal Yuva Ayam.
The competition, themed “Vision for Viksit Bharat”, aims to inspire and empower youth to contribute meaningfully to nation-building across various domains.
Following the research paper writing competition, a three-day Akhil Bharatiya Convention of selected researchers is scheduled to take place from November 15th to 17th, 2024, at SGT University, Gurugram, Haryana. The convention seeks to provide a platform for selected researchers to exchange ideas and insights on fostering a developed India.
A statement said that the primary objective of both the competition and the convention is to harness the potential of youth in driving the nation’s progress, particularly in the current era dubbed as ‘Amritkaal’.
By encouraging research aligned with Bharatiya research methodology and Bharat-centric vision, the initiative aims to instil a sense of responsibility and ownership among the youth towards nation-building endeavors.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof Umesh Rai, commended the efforts of Yuva Ayam of Bhartia Shiksha Mandal for fostering academic engagement among the youth.
He emphasized the importance of establishing a knowledge economy to realize the Prime Minister’s vision of a developed Bharat by 2047, underscoring the necessity of aligning education with societal needs.
Notable attendees included Dr Dilip Kumar from IIMC Jammu, Akhil Bhartia Seh Prachar Pramukh & Palak Adhikaari, Uttar Shetra, Bhartiya Shakisha Mandal, Dr Rajender Singh Charak (Upadhyaksh), Prof Romesh Kumar HoD Mathematics, Dr Narainder Singh (Sah-Mantri), Dr Inderjeet Singh (Sah-Kosh Pramukh), and Dr Davinder Singh Manhas (Yuva Aayam Sah-Pramukh).
