JAMMU, Oct 27: Jammu University Health Centre, in association with Acharya Shri Chander College of Medical Sciences (ASCOMS) Jammu, conducted a free Medical and Gynecology check-up camp for its stakeholders.
Dr Sidharth Kapoor, Dr Umesh Gandotra, Dr Taranjeet Kour, Dr Narita Jamwal, Dr Rohit Raina, Dr Manmeet Singh and Dr Gurleen Kour from ASCOMS were present for this medical camp.
Dr Shabana Azmi, Medical Officer along with Aman Sharma, EHO, Dr Nousheen Khan, Physiotherapist, Ravi Gupta and Pawan Singh, Pharmacists of the University assisted doctors from ASCOMS.
More than 110 patients were examined during the camp and free of cost medicines were provided to them.
Prof Yash Pal Sharma, Head, Department of Botany and Convener, Health Centre Advisory Committee, informed that the recognized days related to human health will be celebrated in the University Health Centre, which will be a regular and perpetual feature.
Dr Gautam Sharma, Dental Surgeon, said that a dental check-up and awareness camp will be organized in near future at Health Centre.
