JAMMU, Mar 14: The Kishtwar campus, University of Jammu (JU) is organizing a two-day national seminar on the topic ‘Urdu language & literature in the Chenab valley’.
Various luminaries of Urdu belonging to the State are going to participate in the seminar, which will be organized in the Prof Gian Chand Jain Seminar Hall of the Urdu Department on April 5. The seminar will be inaugurated by JU Vice Chancellor, Prof RD Sharma.
This was disclosed by Prof Shohab Inayat Malik, Director, Kishtwar Campus. He further disclosed that papers on various genres of Urdu written in Chenab Valley would be presented by the Urdu luminaries like Bashir Bhaderwahi, Sagar Sehrai, Aseer Kishtwari, Prof Asadullah Wani, Naz Nizami, Manshoor Banihali and Mohd Yousuf Taing.
