JAMMU, May 20: Continuing their ongoing token protest, the Jammu University Class IV employees and Casual Labourers suspended their work for three hours today and held demonstration on the campus.
Shouting slogans and carrying placards, the protesting employees also took out a rally on the campus and vowed to continue their ongoing struggle till logical conclusion. The rally started from the Old Administration block and culminated near the Registrar Office.
Several leaders of JU Non-Gazetted Employees Union addressed the rally and highlighted demands, which include regularization of Casual Labourers, removal of pay anomalies, promotion benefits etc.
