JTC, SKF’s plea to Governor

JAMMU, Sept 16: Shadi Lal Pandita, president Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC), Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) and convener, PCC Migrant Cell J&K has appealed Lieutenant Governor J&K UT, Manoj Sinha to take action on the memorandum of demands submitted by JTC on September 8.
In a statement here today Pandita said the memorandum demanded monthly cash relief be increased from Rs 13,000 to Rs 25,000 with announcement 20,000 Jobs for unemployed youth. In the employment those families be given preference, which have no serving Government employee.
The memorandum also demanded filling up of the pending posts of Prime Minister’s employment package, launching of a special police recruitment rally for migrant youth in the Jagti township and other camps and non camps, over aged youth be given competition and free loans, paying the balance ex-gratia of the burnt houses, 30 years of properties loss should be compensated to each and every land lord, establishing of three townships in Kashmir Valley in Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag, 6 Assembly seats and 3 Parliament seats be reserved for Kashmiri Pandits for their political empowerment , removal of encroachments from property of KPs and their religious places, burnt and demolished temples be rebuilt in Kashmir Valley immediately, construction of another township with five thousands two room sets in Jammu so that those who live in rented rooms and bifurcated families can get accommodated, providing of generator at 40 bedded Jagti township hospital and providing of two ambulances for this hospital.
