JTC, SKF reiterates demand of 3 townships for Pandits in Valley

JAMMU, Feb 6: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here, today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president, JTC and SKF .
The meeting expressed grave concern over the attitude of Central Government for ignoring and depriving the Kashmiri Pandit migrants of all basic amenities during past five years.
Shadi Lal Pandita, while addressing the participants said that BJP Government in Centre has totally failed to redress the sufferings of the Kashmiri Pandit migrants as none of the commitments made by the leaders of BJP during past elections has been fulfilled which led to the sufferings of the community.
He demanded safe return of Kashmiri Pandit migrants to Valley for their permanent rehabilitation by bringing up three townships one each in district Anantnag, Srinagar and Baramulla.
Approximately loss of Rs. 4.00 lacs is being suffered by each and every migrant family due to damages to their properties in Kashmir Valley every year as such a demand has been made for ensuring one time compensation of Rs. 1.00 crore in favour of each migrant family to meet the losses. The meeting also demanded implementation of 6000 PM’s job package in letter and spirit.
