JTC, SKF discuss issues of Jagti camp inmates

JAMMU, Feb 3: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) in a joint meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of its president, Shadi Lal Pandita discussed various issues being faced by displaced people form Valley in general and Jagti camp inmates in particular.
Addressing the meeting Pandita showed his dismay over the failure of the authorities to renovate the Jagti road which is totally damaged and it has developed ditches with the result the road has become a death trap for commuters.
Pandita said the people residing in the township are facing lot of hardships and the Government is unmoved to solve the problems. He demanded early renovation of main road with starting of the additional matador and bus services in the township so that the people especially college going students are not put to problems due to lack of transport facilities.
He also demanded construction of a overhead bridge on NH near Jagti so that the people do not face problem in crossing the Highway. He also demanded revival of RBA certificates and implementation of PM’s employment package in letter and spirit.
