JTC, JCC express concern over delay in supply of ration

JAMMU, May 13: Various organisations of displaced Pandits have expressed their grave concern over the delay in distribution of ration to the relief holders by the Government.
Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) which held a meeting today under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita expressed serious concern over non distribution of ration among the displaced people by the Government for the month of April and May.
Pandita said though ration slip books have been issued by different relief zones but the ration has not been provided to them till date. He said the people in camps and non camps have been made to suffer due to delay in supply of ration.
Pandita demanded that the ration of two months be supplied without any delay.
Meanwhile, Jagti Coordination Committee (JCC) also held a meeting under the leadership of Ravi Zutshi in which the participants expressed their serious concern over delay in supply of ration to migrants for last two months.
The meeting which was also addressed by Vijay Koul a functionary of the organization has invited the attention of Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, T K Bhat towards the matter and asked him to take the issue with Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department immediately.
