JAMMU, Mar 6: A joint meeting of Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) was held here today under the Chairmanship of Shadi Lal Pandita, president of the two organisations.
The meeting expressed grave concern over the appeasing policy adopted by the Central Government towards separatists and militants.
Pandita said that since last two years, the militants have increased their activities and the Government is a mute spectator.
He, while addressing the meeting said that Pakistan is making propaganda by terming Kashmir as dispute and has been openly helping and supporting the militancy, imparting trainings to the militants in the camps in Pakistan. Pandita said that such proprietors of militancy need to be given befitting reply to teach them a lesson.
He demanded restoration of RBA certificates to migrants belonging to RBA areas in Valley, implementation of PM’s employment package by giving one job to each migrant family, sanction of separate 1000 class fourth posts for migrant, enhancement of monthly cash relief, payment of ex-gratia for damaged and torched houses, restoration of encroached land, restoration of encroached land of religious places and on spot recruitment in police in camps and non camp areas.
