JTC delegation calls on LG, discusses demands

JAMMU, Nov 25: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) delegation today called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan here and discussed the demands with him.
The delegation demanded increase in the monthly cash relief to relief holder’s and also resolving the remaining demands. Lieutenant Governor assured that the Government will look into all the demands which the delegation discussed with him and also take up them with Union Government.
The delegation was headed by JTC and SKF president Shadi Lal Pandita and its other members included Raj Kumar Tickoo, Rakesh Ambardar, Charan Jeet Singh. Shadi Lal Pandita later addressing the meeting at Jagti township said the protest will continue till demands are settled and a written order is issued by Government regarding the same. After the meeting a strong protest was held at Jagti township by the members of JTC and Soan Kashmir Front . Pandita said that today is the 55th day of the agitation sit-in. He said only the hunger strike has been postponed for some time not agitation .
The dharna will be daily held from 2 pm to 4 pm. The meeting also decided to call Jagti Bandh on November 29 from 1 PM to 4 PM, and a protest will be held on 1-12 2020 in front of press Club Jammu.
