JAMMU, Apr 4: A deputation of Private Schools Association of Jammu province met with Joint Director School Education Jammu H R Pakhroo under the leadership Kamal Gupta President PSA Jammu.
Deputation apprised the Joint Director about the problems being faced by the private schools of different district due to unreasonable and unwarranted orders issued by the different Chief Education Officers for getting their results confirmed. The Association urged that such orders are the total violation of established rules.
Ajay Gupta, State coordinator PSA J&K, briefed that in district Kathua, Chief Education Officer was not confirming the results of schools whose recognition cases were pending in DSE Jammu since 2010. On the other hand, CEO Udhampur has issued a circular indicating a way to harass the Private schools by demanding the formalities even not required for the further extension in recognition / Affiliation, he added.
The Joint Director School Education assured the members to take up the matter before the Director School Education Jammu besides directing the CEOs of different districts not to harass the private schools on one pretext or other.
The deputation comprised of R K Mattoo, Ashok Kumar, Darshan Kumar, D D Khajuria, Sameer Saproo, Siddeshwar Sadotra, Tirath Singh, Jatinder Kumar, Naresh Singh, Jagdev Singh, Pawan Kumar and others.
