JAMMU, May 3: Taking strong exception to the dictate of Geelani on the performance of Shri Amarnathji Yatra, Jammu Province People Forum has warned the separatist leader to desist from interference in the religious affairs of Hindu community.
Addressing a meeting of the Forum, Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj, president, questioned the veracity and authority of the statement demanding restructuring the historical religious event involving sentiments of crores of devotees belonging to Hinduism besides others visiting the cave shrine for Darshan of holy Shivlingam since times immemorial.
Hitting hard on the PDP-BJP coalition Government for their soft approach to curb the militancy, he said that separatists sponsored by the Pakistan and ISI are raking anti national feelings in India under well planned criminal conspiracy to create communal trouble and unrest every year exactly on the onset of yatra.
“The PDP-BJP agenda for good governance has given rise to antinational activities so much so that hoisting of Pakistani flag and anti national sloganeering every now and then has become a routine matter,” he said and demanded immediate arrest of Syed Ali Shah Geelani under Treason Act for his provocative and seditious utterances which are poisoning the atmosphere.
Condemning the Pakistan’s interference on the issue of Resettlement of Kashmiri Pandits in the Valley, JPPF president demanded stern action against Pakistan in a manner so that the country never dares to repeat interfering in the internal affairs of India.
Also demanding immediate roll back of Draft Recruitment policy, Mr Singh advocated for retaining the AIIMS at Jammu. Terming the first two months performance of PDP-BJP Coalition Govt as disappointing, full of chaos and confusion, he said Jammuites en-mass feel offended on all fronts including development, unemployment and are forced to think afresh in terms of mass mandate awarded to BJP.
