JAMMU, July 18:The Jammu Province Bank Employees Federation (JPBEF) celebrated 47th Bank Nationalization Day in a function organised here today.
On the this occasion, the entire banking fraternity took a pledge to work for the success of Public sector banks, fight against privatization of banks, fight for recovery of bad loans and to render best customer service.
The Federation, which is affiliated to AIBEA, along with officers fraternity held a social identification programme at orphan children’s home at Ved Madir, Ambphalla, Jammu. During this programme, the bank officials under the twin banner of AIBEA and AIBOA distributed items of daily use like tooth paste, bathing soap, washing powder, rice, cereals etc, among 135 inmates.
The function besides union leadership, was also attended by vaterans- Indu Bhushan Zutshi and K K Anand. While distributing items Arun Kumar Gupta, general secretary JPBEF assured the students of providing all type of help to the needy amongst them. Com Ashwani Pardhan, general secretary PNBOA spoke on the need of help to those students who are in distress.
Arun Gupta reiterated the resolve of the Union to strengthen the movement of Nationalisation of Banks and called upon the employees to rededicate themselves for the healthy growth of the country’s economic order and make banking service available in the unbanked areas.
The function was also attended by R K Bamba, R K Tikoo, V K Dutta, V K Pandita and many others.
