SRINAGAR, Nov 5: A Kashmiri journalist has been selected by ‘The Thomson Reuters Foundation’, London for its training program 2013 on ‘Editorial Judgment’ to be held in Mumbai this month.
Irfan Quraishi, who is presently working for Chandigarh based National News Channel is the only full-time young journalist selected from Jammu and Kashmir this year as regular contributors to broadcast media organizations.
The Thomson Reuters Foundation under its ‘Trust Media’ program delivers journalism training and development projects to strengthen media across the globe, as well as undertaking research into news media through the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at Oxford University.
