SRINAGAR, Nov 5: Minister for Tourism and Culture, Nawang Rigzin Jora during his extensive tour of Dal Lake and Nageen Lake took stock of ongoing development works of two Dock Yards at Goni Khan and Nandpora Nageen here today. He directed the executing agency to speed up the pace of work for early completion of the project.
The Minister was informed that an amount of Rs. 3.40 crore is being spent on these projects. He was further informed that the repairs and renovation work of House Boats would be taken up soon after the completion of Dock Yard projects.
During his visit to world famous lakes of Kashmir valley, Mr. Jora interacted with several groups of tourists and enquired about their comfortable stay in the Valley.
