POONCH, Mar 20: SSP Poonch Jatinder Singh Johar inaugurated the refurbished office cum mess building of retired police personnel of Poonch district near Court Complex office, Poonch.
During the inaugural ceremony large number of retired police personnel including prominent of the area present on the occasion.
With the opening of the lodging facility the retired police personnel can avail the benefit particularly those police personnel residing in far flung area of the district. District police also provided furniture for the building.
SSP Poonch reassured the retired police personnel that J&K Police is committed for the welfare of retired employees and they should feel part and parcel of police parivar and also assured them that their future needs will be taken care of and they should help the department in providing timely inputs about the prevailing situation as they are also part of the local community.
District police has already held an interaction session with the retired employees and is continuing in its endeavour to take full care of their welfare needs.
