JAMMU, Jan 24: Jammu Municipal Corporation today sealed two premises in Marble Market and Channi Himmat areas for violation of Municipal norms
Acting on the complaint of violation of Municipal norms by the public, an enforcement team of JMC sealed a godown of M/s Shivam Marbles at Marble Market which had been clandestinely raised on the rear side of the existing marble shop of the business concern in total violation of Municipal norms.
The team also sealed another premise at 73/5 Channi Himmat opposite Vermani Mall owned by one Naveen Nischol as the owner has raised a shutter illegally, thereby violating land use by changing its status from residential to commercial and clandestinely installing a shutter too.
JMC has appealed city dwellers to refrain from land use from residential to commercial as it eventually leads to congestion of the area and impedes vehicular and pedestrian movement.
