JAMMU, Nov 25: Mayor, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Rajinder Sharma inaugurated first of its kind four- day long Building Material Expo today, organised by Minds Media & Management Pvt Ltd & IIA (Indian Institute of Architects-J&K Chapter) at JDA Ground, adjoining 4th Tawi Bridge, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu.
Commissioner JMC Rahul Yadav, was also present on the occasion as guest of honour. The Expo is one of the highly rated one stop event in Jammu. Prominent leading manufacturers across the country are participating in it.
In this Expo, modern home furniture and furnishing, Modular kitchens, building technology, bath and sanitary fittings, Automation systems, decorative glasses, wall papers and many more brands in latest technology of Interiors & Exteriors and Building Material are being displayed.
The concerned professionals including Architects, Engineers, Builders, Dealers & Distributors and the Jammuites shall be visiting the show.
The Indian Institute of Architects has 24 Chapters in India and Jammu & Kashmir Chapter is the youngest one which was formed on March 9, 2021.
BS Rana and Inder Dhingra from Minds Media & Management Pvt Ltd. told that more than 120 big brands from PAN India have showcased the latest and trendy products for the construction of buildings.
