JAMMU, May 15: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) today demolished a violative portion of the commercial structure, built by Chander Mohan Sharma at Plot number 10 and 11, opposite Police Station Channi Himmat, here exhibiting its policy of zero tolerance to illegal construction in the city.
The whole operation was carried out by the Enforcement Wing of JMC, led by Ashish Gupta, Joint Commissioner (A) under the supervision of JMC Commissioner, Avny Lavasa.
JMC Commissioner appealed the general public to abide by the building and civic norms of the JMC and refrain from illegal change of land use and violations in building plan.
