JAMMU, Mar 25: Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Sharda Kumari today inaugurated work on protection wall near Bagh Mohalla in Ward 47.
The area was in dire need of protection wall to support the street at a height as the earlier supporting wall was damaged leaving the locals to face a lot of problems.
On this occasion Sharda Kumari appealed the general public to come forward and co-operate JMC in various development works undertaken by the Corporation.
She urged upon the locals of the area to avoid single use plastic and polythene in routine works and shun the habit of throwing debris, garbage, filth etc in drains.
