JAMMU, Mar 10: The Enforcement staff of JMC led by its Chief Enforcement Officer in its ongoing drive against the violations today sealed the premises of Sorab Gupta at 409-A, Gandhi Nagar, here for converting the residential building into commercial one. The action has been taken under Section 8 (1) of J&K Control of Building Operation Act, 1988.
The team also demolished the unauthorized construction of shops raised by Rajinder Gupta S/o Faquir Chand Gupta at Roop Nagar main road Chinore, Jammu.
The drive has been conducted with the help of police force from Police Station Gandhi Nagar, Police Post Chinore and force from District Police Lines, Jammu.
Further, the Jammu Municipal Corporation appeals to the general public to refrain from making illegal constructions and get building plans whether commercial and residential approved from Jammu Municipal Corporation(JMC) otherwise action as admissible under rules leading to demolition / sealing of the building will be taken.
