JAMMU, Mar 10: Principal Secretary, Planning and Development Department, B R Sharma today inaugurated “The Civils”—an IAS/KAS Coaching Institute, at Roop Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Sharma highlighted the need for setting up of reputed institutes for imparting quality coaching to the aspirants of IAS/KAS and expected that “The Civils” will come-up to the expectations of candidates and civil society in professional and result oriented manner besides channelizing their talents and knowledge in right prospective so that candidates of the State could excel in Civil Services Examinations.
K Bashar, Chairman Civils Group of Institutes, in his address, highlighted the objectives, vision, mission, strategies and roadmap of the “The Civils” for providing quality coaching with the help of highly qualified, dedicated and experienced faculty mainly from Delhi for turning the dreams of budding aspirants into a reality.
He further elaborated that “The Civils Plus”, a sister concern of “The Civil” is also committed for providing excellent coaching in medical and non-medical fields (both academic and entrance examinations).
B R Lachotra, Patron of the Institution and former Director General, Economics and Statistics, Planning & Development Department and life member of IIPA presented vote of thanks. He also requested B R Sharma to provide guidance to the Institute so that it can really serve as a centre of excellence in education for IAS/KAS aspzparticularly from J&K.
