JMC Commissioner takes stock of issues of residents of Ward number 38

JAMMU, Dec 15: Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Avny Lavasa today conducted a tour of Ward number 38 and took stock of the problems being faced by the residents.
Lavasa was accompanied by the concerned officers of JMC and local Councillor Surinder Sharma. During the tour, the Commissioner visited areas where the nallah flowing from Basant Nagar to Paloura requires renovation and lanes of Pamposh Colony Janipur at sectors 2, 3 and 4 require black topping.
The JMC Commissioner directed the concerned Executive Engineer for preparing the estimates for the same so that the issues can be resolved at the earliest which will help to mitigate the problems of the residents of the Ward.
Lavasa also listened to other grievances of the residents patiently and assured to redress the same. The JMC Commissioner further appealed all residents to come forward and join hands with Jammu Municipal Corporation so that they can jointly work for making our Jammu City number one in respect of sanitation and cleanliness.
She urged the citizens to avoid use of polythene carry bags and throwing of C&D waste into nallahs which is a major cause of choking of nallahs.
