Jammu, Mar 16: Chairman Public Health and Sanitation and PHE Committee JMC Arun Kumar Khanna along with JMC commissioner Rahul Yadav and SE Jal Shakti Department Sanjay Sharma conducted tour at Tawi Intake Structure and Tawi Central Pumping Station Boria for checking.
Khanna took a serious note of ongoing condition of Jal Shakti Department.
The chairman noticed that intake working capacity of plant is slower and not able to circulate proper supply to the adjoining areas of Channi Himmat, Narwal Bala, Sunjawan, channi Rama, Bathindi, Bahu fort, Sainik Colony, Nanak Nagar , Gandhi Nagar Trikuta Nagar and many more.
Khanna also directed the staff make sure that Intake capacity will improve and work properly in upcoming season so that no residence of jammu suffers from scarcity of water.
During tour Rahul Yadav also state that he will definitely keep it on priority basis and assure public that in this summer no one face water shortage.
