JKTTPF to start information, publicity counters for pilgrims of Amarnath Yatra

JAMMU, June 22: Like every year, Jammu and Kashmir Tourist Trade Peoples Federation (JKTTPF) is going to start information and publicity counters for pilgrims of Shri Amarnath Yatra at Lakhanpur, Chichi Mata Temple, Raghunath Bazaar Chowk, Bhagwati Nagar (Base Camp), Bus Stand Katra and in Shiv Khori.
This was stated by Mahesh Chander Padha, Founder JKTTPF while interacting with media persons here today.
He informed that this year they are going to aware the pilgrims about the first darshan Kol Kandoli Mata of which most of the pilgrims are not aware, adding that JKTTPF has identified 4 Deviyaan–Pingla Mata, Chountra Mata, Sukrala Mata and Pingla Mata, which have the potential to become a great pilgrimage site like 4 Deviyaan in Himachal Pradesh.
“There are 5 holy dhamas–Baba Amarnath, Buddha Amarnath, Sudh Maha Dev, Kailash Kund and Shiv Khori, which needs promotion”, he added.
Padha appealed to the Governor Satya Pal Malik to extend support to JKTTPF in its initiative to promote and spread awareness about the pilgrimages sites of Jammu and Kashmir.
Among others present were Karan Sharma, Vice Chairman, Shiv Kumar Sharma, President, Gurmaz Singh, Vice President, Raj Kumar, General Secretary, Advocate Meenu Padha, Legal Advisor, Neena Bakshi, President, Hospitality, Protocol and Culture, Baldev Sharma, Secretary, Shiv Darshan Singh, Vice President, Rajesh Kumar, Vice President and RK Verma, Joint Secretary.
