JKTJAC deputation meets Director School Education, projects demands

JAMMU, Sept 1: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), led by its UT President Vinod Sharma, called on Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shanker Sharma in his office chamber today and discussed with him genuine issues of the teachers.
Vinod Sharma discussed in detail the various burning issues of the teachers and sought their resolution at the earliest. He demanded conversion of RRETs to Teachers Grade II/III, regularisation of ReTs whose files are lying in the Directorate for a long time, framing of comprehensive transfer policy in favour of teachers appointed under ReT scheme, implementation of CAT directions regarding impugned order of repatriation of regularised ReTs , resumption of mutual transfers of Teachers Grade II/III/RRETs, initiation of process of mutual transfers of 3rd teachers/ RRETs, DPC of teachers, rationalisation of teaching staff and provision of earned leave in favour of teachers engaged during summer/winter vacation.
The DSEJ gave a patient hearing to the deputation and assured to resolve all the issues raised by JKTJAC leadership at the earliest.
Those who were part of the deputation included: Surjeet Singh, Rajesh Jamwal, Ravinder Manhas, Shamsher Singh, Rakesh Sharma, S S Manhas, Rajinder Sharma, Gurdyal Singh, Surinder Singh Manhas, Kulveer Singh, Surinder Singh, Sanjay Singh, Vinay Kumar, Rakesh Singh, Rajni Sadotra, Sindhu Bala and others.
