JKTJAC delegation calls on DSEJ, raises issues of teachers

JAMMU, Apr 1: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC), led by UT president Vinod Sharma, called on Director School Education Jammu Dr Ravi Shankar Sharma in his office chamber and raised various burning issues of the teachers.
The deputation demanded regularisation of left out ReT teachers whose files are lying in the Directorate , conversion of regularised ReT teachers to Teachers Grade II/III , appointment of ZEOs in headless zones , conversion of left out RReTs to Teachers Grade II/III as some cases are withheld due to adverse CID reports on minor charges, DPC of Teachers to Masters , creation of posts of Masters in upgraded Middle schools so that salary issue of Head Teachers be resolved, issuance of Diploma / Marksheet to teachers who passed D Ed through (NIOS) online mode with less than 50 percent marks as the teachers with offline mode have received the same even having less than 50 percent marks.
The Director after giving a patient hearing to the deputation assured that he will look into all the matters and resolve them on priority basis.
Others, who were part of the deputation, included: Sukhdev Singh Sumbaria (UT chief coordinator), Rajesh Jamwal (Provincial president), Sham Parkash, Sukesh Khajuria, Naresh Sharma, Manzoor Khan, Shah Nawaz, Shabir Ahmed, Surinder Singh, Manohar Choudhary, Rajinder Sharma, Ram Paul, Mohd Sharief and Ab Rashid.
