JAMMU, Sept 14: A deputation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers’ Joint Action Committee ( JKTJAC), led by Provincial President Rajesh Jamwal today visited the office of the State Project Director (SPD) SAMAGRA for highlighting issues of the teachers.
As the office was closed due to Covid -19, Mr Jamwal telephonically contacted the SPD and discussed the issue of declaration of B.Ed result of the teachers and removing shortcomings in the IMPACT training. He explained that many CEOs have deputed trainers who are much junior to the trainees. He sought clear cut directions to the concerned DIETs as some HoDs created confusion during interaction with the trainees claiming that after 21 days workshop the teachers will be graded according to their performance and the same grading will decide whether the trainees (teachers grade II /III) be converted as General Line teachers.
The SPD assured on telephone that he would redress all the issues at the earliest and further clarified that the grading during the training has nothing to do with the conversion to General Line Teachers as well as promotion and teachers need not to worry about the same.
