JKTA delegation meets DSEJ, highlights issues & demands of teachers

JAMMU, July 22: A delegation of Jammu Kashmir Teachers Association, led by President Bhupinder Singh, called on Director School Education Jammu Ashok Kumar Sharma at his office and apprised him about the burning issues of teacher fraternity.
The delegation demanded implementation of National Education Policy(NEP) 2020 as soon as possible, reclassification of zones in ATD on the basis of zonal headquarters instead of district headquarters, inclusion of left out teachers’ name in the seniority list, transfer policy for female teachers appointed under ReT scheme on marriage grounds, resolution of the issues of teachers at Zonal, CEO and Directorate level in time bound manner, timely and regular departmental promotion, release of pending arrears of RRet teachers, conversion of pending cases of RRet to grade 2nd and grade 3rd, issuance of post facto/prior permission of the teachers, delegating DDO powers of Headless Zones, provision of earn leave in favour of teachers who have performed duties during the Winter/Summer vacation, consideration of mutual transfer in favour of all teachers appointed under Ret scheme and issuance of the list of teachers promoted after DPC.
Director School Education Jammu gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured for early redressal.
The delegation comprised of Joginder Dingra, Tirth Singh Balwal, Surjeet Singh, Sajad Malik, Kuldip Singh, Randeep Singh, Parbhar Singh, Madhu Sambyal, Santosh Sharma, Inderjeet Singh, Pradeep Sharma, Sunil Salaria, Chuni Lal, Parshotam Singh, Neelam Devi, Bashir Ahmed Bajad and others.
