JAMMU, May 8: JK School Education Employees Coordination Committee (JKSEECC) and Jammu Kashmir Government Teachers Forum (JKGTF) has resented non payment of Transportation Allowance to employees notwithstanding their deployment for duties at different areas.
Members of JKSEECC and JKGTF discussed the issue in a telephonic meeting, convened by Amar Nath Thakur and observed that no TA has been drawn in favour of any employee and only Deputy Commissioner Udhampur has issued an order to draw the Transport Allowance of teachers and other employees deployed in providing duties in COVID-19 at different areas in Udhampur.
It was informed that all teachers went door to door to provide MDM ration, books to students, health survey at village level, taking classes from first to 12th level on WhatsApp groups, online, video conferencing, zoom conferencing classes, exam duties ( home marking) etc. After discussing issue with other employees, it was decided to request JKUT administration to release TA in favour of all employees of Education Department and others.
