POONCH, May 8: Mohra Kallar village in block Balakote of Poonch district comprising of over 500 souls, have accused the health authorities of ignoring their plight, saying that the village even lacks a dispensary, thereby, leaving the patients in the lurch.
The locals of the area alleged that in the absence of health care facility, the villagers are being forced to travel at least 10 kilometers to visit other hospitals or dispensaries.
“We are being forced to visit private clinics,” they said.
MR Kazafi, a local resident said that despite approaching the higher authorities several times in the past, the authorities have failed to come up to the expectations of people, leaving them to suffer.
The residents have demanded to open a dispensary at the village so that they could heave a sigh of relief.
