JKSAC interacts with sufferers of flash flood

JAMMU, Sept 11: The team of Jammu Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee (JKSAC) visited all the DPs/refugees basties (colonies) of Jammu district, Samba, Kathua and interacted with the sufferers and took stock of damage caused to properties and crops due to flash flood in wake of incessant rains.
The team comprising of Prof Amrik Singh Sathi, Rishi Kumar Choudhary, Anil Gupta, Harbans Singh and Om Parkash expressed heart felt condolence on behalf of all DPs/refugees to the families of those people in the State who lost their beloved ones and proterties particularly in Kashmir valley in this unprecedented situation caused by torrential rain.
He appealed to all sections of society in the State including NGOs and particurly the DPs/ refugees to keep aside their legitimate grievances for the movement and stand by the Government and sufferers in this hour of crises and contribute to their best in the flood victim funds.
