JAMMU, Dec 30: Continuing their protests against the alleged answer key leak, JKPSI aspirants today accused the J&K Service Selection Board (JKSSB) of complete failure to maintain transparency.
Today the protest took place in Kathua and Jammu Districts wherein hundreds of aspirants lodged their resentment over the leakage of answer key which was supposed to be released on 30th December 2022 as per notification issued by the Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board but the link got circulated on WhatsApp and many students managed to download the key two days before it was supposed to be.
Aspirants alleged that since answer key was generated on very same day when paper was designed and uploaded on server, so there was strong probability that link could be made available to some aspirants who might have got paper access before exam. They alleged that it seemed the paper leak syndrome of JKSSB was killing the future of the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
Aspirants also alleged that LG administration as well JKSSB were not serious about future of youth. “When aspirants sought relief from High Court which ordered a judicial enquiry over the process of selecting a blacklisted firm, on very next day JKSSB challenged that judgement and allowed a blacklisted company which is known for incompetency and insecure examination process,” they said and added that result of all this can be seen as aspirants of different districts are protesting against failure of JKSSB in conducting transparent exams.
The protesting aspirants alleged that JKSSB has lost credibility and failed in trust building among youth and common people. They alleged that there were a large number of anomalies in the official answer keys released.
The aspirants demanded that the role of private players should be ended up in the Government appointments. They lamented that despite the Government having all required resources for conducting the paper on its own, future of lakhs of aspirants was lent into the hands of a tainted company. They alleged that the Government of Jammu Kashmir was pushing educated youth towards the dark.
The protesting aspirants were addressed by Rohit, Rahul, Sandeep Singh, Sushil Sharma, Rohit Sharma, Tabish, Yogeshwar, Ramkrishan, Rohan, Arshad and others.
