JAMMU, May 13: J&K Private Schools Coordination Committee has appealed all the schools not to enhance their fees for the current session and reduce the Annual Charges on Pro-Rata basis for the period of the lock down of their school offices besides considering further flexibility in deposits on monthly basis.
“Late fee charges should be completely waived off. However, those parents who get 100 percent reimbursement of fee from Government should be kept out of the preview of any concessions. Moreover, schools are free to consider the individual requests of the parents for fee concession on case to case basis,” said JKPSCC, in a statement, issued here today.
JKPSCC further said that those well established, should come forward to help both the parents and the schools, running out of budget for their sustainability. “Similarly, parents who are well off; employees, having regular income and capacity to pay, should not exploit this human crisis and be empathetic for the schools as well and must pay the fees well in time. After all, we all are humans and accountable for the sustainability of the whole mankind. It’s the responsibility of both the management and the parents to see to it that those depending for their livelihoods on schools should not face the brunt of the non payment of the fees of your children. The promoters having low budget schools, should be enabled to pay the bank EMI, vehicle insurance, electricity bills and other allied expenses apart from the human resources managing all these,” added the statement, issued by JKPSCC president Rameshwar Manhas and working president Dr Hari Dutt Shishu.
“Lastly, it’s is imperative for all of us to let’s help one another and look everything in human perspectives and for sure it will lead us again to a bright future as there is always light at the end of the tunnel,” they said and appreciated Principal Secretary, School Education Department, Dr Asgar Samoon for positively considering the demands and issues of private schools.
