JAMMU, June 4: J&K Private Schools Association (JKPSA) has expressed concern over non inclusion of representatives of the private schools and parents Associations of Jammu division in the meeting which was designed by the Government to review “J&K Education Investment Policy-2020.”
“The Private Secretary to Principal Secretary of Govt Schools/Technical Education Department has extended invitations to both Kashmir based private schools and parents Association for today meeting at Srinagar along with Govt representatives of Jammu division but ignored authorised representatives of Jammu based Associations,” said secretary of the Association, Ajay Gupta in a statement issued here.
He further said that such type of step motherly treatment with Jammu based Associations by the Government after the abrogation of Article 370 depicts that the existing Government was still playing foul to hurt the sentiments of Jammu people.
“However, the Jammu based officers of the department concerned were also asked by the Government to attend the meeting through video conferencing,” said Gupta.
President, Kamal Gupta condemned this move and demanded same type of meeting at Jammu so that the Associations could give their suggestions while framing any policy by the Government.
