SRINAGAR, May 20: A delegation of J&K, Non-Gazetted Statistical Employees Association (JKNGSEA) headed by its president P S Jamwal called on R A Banday, Director General , Economics and Statistics, J&K, today.
A threadbare discussion was held on other issues confronted by the Planning/ Statistical Cadre and Jamwal urged for early redressal of the pending issues.
The issues discussed in the meeting pertained to holding of DPC of I/C Statistical Officers and Statistical Assistant’s; Training of JSAs SAs: Regularization of Consolidated, Casual and Daily Wagers who have completed 7 year of services; Declaration of result of trainees; Modification of transfer orders particularly of female and physically challenged/medically unfit officials who are posted in far flung areas in different CD Blocks; and Deputation of Statistical Officers for specialized training outside the State.
The other demands included creation of welfare fund for Planning/Statistical personnel, amendment to the existing constitution/By-laws governing the JKNGSEA and holding of Elections of the JKNGSEA.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere and the Director General, Economics and Statistics, gave a patient hearing and assured that all the pending issues projected by the Association will be addressed as soon as possible.
